Friday, October 9, 2009 11:01 PM Day 2 Mt Kinabalu The day look nice and good.Was thinking of have one last bath before we set off as I didn't had a batht he previous day.But decided not t as the water was too F-ing cold.There's no heater mind U.. Got all our things packed and went for breakfast.=)Hot food never tasted so nice though the food was just simple.     Reached Timpohan Gate and awaited for the mountain guides before we start our trek.                   The higher we went the thinner the air the cold the it got .Soon we were half way up where we had our packed lunch & that when all Shell start to come out as it was really cold.           After 7-8 hours of hiking up we finally reach our destination and rested at LAban Rata Hut.The winds started picking up and beating down on us.We were in time to have some nice sunset shot before dinner.       The way up to our rest house was a really harsh one.Thought there were wooden steps leading us up the winds really was beating down hard.the air was so thin that when we were in the rest house we started panting inside it was really just a short and not so steep walk up.  We unpacked and had a final briefing to end the day to prepare us for the climb the next morning which starts at 2am.It was already 9pm. Day 3 tomorrow=)
